- The details of the funeral or memorial service (optional)

- Any special acknowledgments or thank-you messages from the family

The Essential Package is our “No Service No Attendance” (NSNA) funeral. This refers to a simple and straightforward offer without a formal ceremony or gathering, where no service or memorial event is held, and attendance is not expected. This option is chosen by those who prefer a more private and minimalistic approach to honouring their loved one.
The prices listed are ‘starting from’ amounts, covering all the essential services mentioned above. However, there are additional items that will need to be considered and added that are listed below, depending on the choices made by each family and tailored to your unique preferences and needs.

Coffin or Casket
A coffin is a mandatory requirement for burial or cremation in Australia. While both coffins and caskets serve the same purpose, there are key differences:
- Coffins are tapered at the head and foot, wider at the shoulders, and typically have a removable lid.
- Caskets are rectangular, have a hinged lid, and are often made with more intricate finishes.
The choice between a coffin or casket is personal, and we can help guide you through the options to find one that best suits your needs.
Placing Personal Items in the Coffin
Including personal items in your loved one’s coffin can be a meaningful way to honour their memory. Letters, photographs, small mementos, or even a favourite book can be placed inside as a final tribute. However, for cremation, some restrictions may apply depending on the materials. We’re happy to guide you through what’s allowed and help you make this farewell as personal as you wish.
Ashes Placement / Interment (Optional)
- Interment is the placement of your loved one in their final resting place. This may be a standard grave, a vault, crypt, or mausoleum, each with its own specific requirements and conditions.
- After cremation, families may choose to keep the ashes, scatter them, or place them in a final resting place – such as a cemetery plot, memorial garden, vault, or alongside a loved one who has already passed.
- If interment of ashes is chosen, additional fees may apply, depending on the location and specific cemetery requirements. These arrangements are usually made directly with the cemetery, and we’re happy to assist with guidance and coordination if needed.
Flowers
Our flower tribute options offer a variety of choices. We understand the importance of personalisation, and we want to provide you with the flexibility to choose the arrangement that best reflects your sentiments. Whether you prefer a simple and elegant tribute or a more elaborate display, our range of options allows you to select what resonates with you. Celebrant
You are welcome to choose a clergy member or celebrant of your preference, whether it’s someone from your own spiritual or religious community or a family member who holds special meaning. Feel free to discuss your preferences with us, and we’ll work closely with you to accommodate your choice.
Venue
The venue for your service, whether it be a church, chapel, or any location you prefer, is usually a personal choice for every family. Costs may vary based on the selected venue and should be factored in accordingly. If you already have a specific venue in mind, please let us know. Alternatively, feel free to speak with us to explore other options that might better suit your preferences and requirements.
Cremation
Arrangements and discussions regarding the cremation fee should be handled independently with your chosen crematorium. Feel free to communicate with us to share your preferred location.
